48-Hour Cancellation Policy

48-Hour Cancellation Policyno-shows

I consider it an honor and privilege to be of service & look forward to a mutually satisfying relationship.

Therapy and/or coaching require a regular commitment.  I do understand that, from time to time, there may be extenuating circumstances when you have to cancel your appointment; however, I request that any cancellation or rescheduling of your appointment be made at least 48 hours in advance. I value your time and hope that you value mine! Missed appointments or appointments cancelled on short notice affect me and prevent me from being able to serve others in need. Because of this, I have created a cancellation and missed appointment policy outlined here.

If you cancel your session with less than 48 hours or are a “no-show” for your scheduled appointment, you will be expected to pay the full agreed upon cost of your session. If my schedule permits, however, I am happy to work with you to reschedule another time to meet during the same week (Mon-Fri) of your missed appointment.

If you are new to my practice and are a “no-show” or cancel within 48 hours of your first paid visit and wish to reschedule, payment of half of your agreed upon fee for the office visit you missed will need to be made at the time of rescheduling.  I thank you in advance for your consideration.

If you normally meet with me in person and are unable to attend the appointment in person but have the technology in your possession to meet with me using video or telephone from a remote location and would like to do that as an alternative, I require that you inform me of this change at least 24 hours prior to our meeting so that I can make necessary preparations with my computer at my office.  I use Skype, Zoom, or telephone for all video sessions.

*All cancellations must be made by phone (no e-mails or text messages please). I appreciate your support with establishing practices that protect everyone from confusion and discomfort.

Ending Therapy and or Coaching

I request one week’s notice for closure of therapy or coaching. For whatever reason you are unable to contact me one week in advance, I request that you pay me for the final missed session.

You are responsible for remembering scheduled appointments. I appreciate your consideration of my time and will express the same consideration for yours.
